Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) rejected Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s demand of appointment to discuss the protocols between Turkey and Armenia. MHP showed the Turkish Grand National Assembly as adress for the discussions.

The written statement that is made by the central office of Nationalist Movement Party said, “General President of MHP Devlet Bahçeli clearly expressed his stance about the relations between Turkey and Armenia and the protocols that are initiated between two countries. We consider that it would be beneficial if Justice and Development Party government shares its opinion about this issue with Turkish nation and clarifies it in the General Assembly of Turkish Grand National Assembly.”

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu demanded appointment from the general presidents of political parties which have seats in Turkish parliament to inform political parties about the protocols initiated between Turkey and Armenia towards establishment of diplomatic relations and developing bilateral ties.
