ERDOGAN TO INFORM WORLD LEADERS ON ARMENIA AND CYPRUS ISSUES

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan going to United States for attending two important meetings. Turkey will be presented by Prime Minister  R. Tayyip Erdogan in the General Assembly of United Nations.

Prime Minister Erdogan has a heavy schedule in United States between September 21 and 26. Erdogan will firstly fly to New York and and will adress to World leaders during the General Assembly of UN. Erdogan will remind the position of Turkey about Cyprus and Armenia issues and will leave the message that Ankara is towards peace and solution of disputes. Underlining Turkey’s steps towards democratization and role of Turkey in the region, Erdogan will tell leaders that Turkey is becoming a secure energy corridor with recent agreements. Within the frames of meeting of General Assembly, Erdogan will hold bilateral meetings with European, African and Latin American leaders. It is reported that Erdogan may also meet with Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents within the frames of these meetings.

The second important meeting that Prime Minister Erdogan will attend is G-20 summit. G-20 summit will be held in Pittsburgh in September 24—25. Erdogan is expected to meet with U. S. President Barack Obama during this summit.
