Leaders of one of the major Armenian organizations in United States Armenian Assembly of America, Armenian General Benevolent Union, Western and Eastern Dioceses of Armenian Apostolic Church sent a letter to U.S. President Barack Obama, calling him to make Turkey open the border and establish diplomatic relations without preconditions.
American Armenians also called the U. S. President to recognize so called Armenian genocide clearly and unconditionally.
