Russian press wrote that Turkish government will use its all influence in the Turkish Parliament for the protocols towards Turkish-Armenian normalization while Armenia will just bring the protocols to the parliament as a matter of form. Russian newspapers wrote that Armenian leader Serzh Sarksyan will not be able to make a consensus with political parties that have seat in the Armenian Parliament. Nezavisimaya newspaper wrote, “Governing party in Turkey struggles for a permanent rapprochement with Armenia although opposition parties are against that. On the other hand, the situation in Armenia is different.” Russian newspaper reminded that Armenian opposition is against Turkish-Armenian protocols and that Dashnaktsutyun Party left the coalition government to protest process of normalization of relations with Turkey and wrote, “Therefore, Sarksyan may consult the protocols by himself as a matter of form. He will visit Turkey to watch the football game between Turkish and Armenian national teams and doing so he will show the international community that he passed the borders.”
