
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu continued his visits to political parties that have seat in the parliament for informing and asking for support about Armenian initiative of the government. Yesterday he visited Democratic Party and Grand Union Party.
The day before he visited Republican People’s Party and Democratic Left Party although he couldn’t find support for government’s initiative from the two left wing party. Yesterday Foreign Minister Davutoglu firstly visited Grand Union Party (BBP) and met with the General President of the BBP Yalcin Topcu. Topcu said, “Armenia should withdraw from Nagorno-Karabakh and should declare that it recognizes Turkey’s territorial integrity.”
On the other hand, Democratic Party leader Husamettin Cindoruk said, “Turkey should not rush about resolution of the dispute between Turkey and Armenia. We respect the efforts of government about this issue but we do not agree totally. The relations between Turkey and Armenia is not bilateral but trilateral. Azerbaijan must be included in the talks.”
