Azerbaijan sent an official invitation to Armenia to attend Baku meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSECO) emergency ministers and chiefs of relevant organizations, but Armenia didn't join the meeting, said spokesman for BSECO Chairman, department chief of the Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Altay Efendiyev.

He said the invitation was sent via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “It is not clear why the Armenians didn't join the meeting. They didn't make official announcement on that. Armenia needs to participate in this meeting. We didn”t ban its participation and they could join us in this meeting.”

Albania also didn't join the BSECO meeting.

Armenia said it didn't receive official invitation.
