Azerbaijani authorities and political parties are not going to have discussions on the reopening of Turkey-Armenia borders, chief of Political Analysis and Information Provision Department of the Presidential Administration Elnur Aslanov said, APA reports.

He said that the issue may be discussed if important steps are taken in this direction. Aslanov said Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expressed its position concerning the reopening of the borders.

“Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said some days ago that Turkey-Armenia borders can not be reopened before Nagorno Karabakh conflict is solved. Discussions are being held concerning it both in Armenia and Turkey. Therefore, there is no need to hurry. We should wait for the process,” he said.
