Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that not only Turkish-Armenian border, but also Azerbaijani-Armenian border may be opened during the process.

Davutoglu stressed that it is necessary establishment of a macro-equilibrium in Caucasus and it should not be a region with micro-ethnic conflicts within. Replying the question about how much time remains for opening the state borders between Turkey and Armenia, Davutoglu said, “I hope so soon. All parties, if we could increase our tempo, including OSCE Minsk Group, not only the border between Turkey and Armenia but also Azerbaijani-Armenian state border may be opened too.”

Stating that all people in the region have the same approach of history, Davutoglu said, “The thing we are trying to do is not an approach that basis on problems, but an approach basis on a vision. What we want to see in future is a Turkey that shapes the future. Our aim is a Turkey that is a center of attraction in its region by 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the republic.”
