Armenian Prime Minister Angela Merkel commented on Turkey’s Kurdish opening and the recent developments in the relations between Turkey and Armenia.
Merkel said, “I was very pleased when i heard that Turkey and Armenia decided to establish diplomatic relations. It will be a good basis for showing that discussing these tough issues is a better way. It is always better for people to talk with each other than talking about each other. And about Turkey’s Kurdish opening. I also evaluate this step as bold and important.”
