Director of the Organization for Struggle Against Baseless Genocide Claims (ASIMED) Assistant Professor Doctor Savas Egilmez claimed that Armenia commits green genocide in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Assistant Professor Doctor Savas Egilmez said, “Armenia pollutes rivers, lakes and water resources consciously, they are committing a genocide of green. We prepared a CD telling these problems and started to post it leaders of Western countries including US President Barack Obama.”
Calling international environmentalist lobbies to pay attention to that, Egilmez told the destruction of environment by Armenia as, “Environmentalist organizations should take action for Armenia to stop the destruction against green in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan. Armenia pollutes especially Aras river and other rivers, lakes and water resources in the region. They destruck the environment step by step. They cut down trees and pollute the green fields.”
Stating that Armenians are committing a genocide against green in the occupied regions, Egilmez stressed that it is a part of the agression of the war against Azerbaijan. “As they want to leave a ruined field to Azerbaijani Turks, they are not aware that their agression harms also whole humanity and their next generations too. On the other hand, they are operating a Nuclear power plant that completed its technical age in 2005. And there is not any will towards shut down of the power plant although it is risky to continue to operate it.”
