Establishment of peace and security in the region is impossible without the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stated in a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Fawzi Salloukh in New York within the framework of the 64th UN General Assembly, the ministry said.
The ministers discussed common interests and viewpoints of Azerbaijan and Lebanon on different problems in the Middle East and South Caucasus.
Mammadyarov informed his Lebanese counterpart the country’s position on the solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and said peace and security in the region is impossible without the resolution of the dispute.
