Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan stated that Armenia’s real capital is located in Turkey. He will begin foreign trip on October 1, to discuss the Armenia-Turkey relations with Armenian Diaspora abroad, APA reported.

Sargsyan said in his meeting with the head of Armenian Church Garegin II that he was planning to visit Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Beirut and Rostov to meet with the Armenian communities there. He said the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations entered into the important stage. “It will be very useful discussion and it is important not depending of signing or ratifications of the protocols. An emotional aspect of the domestic debates is normal because most of the Armenian people are grandchildren of those who suffered from the genocide. On the other hand, our churches and temples, even homes of most people are located in the other side of borders. Our capital is located there. I understand that and I also try to overcome my emotions. I think the debates are important.”
