
Prime Minister Erdogan and U. S. President Barack Obama discussed issues related to Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and U. S. President Barack Obama discussed the problems in Middle East, Turkey-Armenia relations and Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
During the meeting that took place in Pittsburgh, two leaders focused on regional problems. U. S. President Barack Obama stated that he welcomes recent developments in the region and stressed the importance of development of U.S.-Turkey relations for the region.
The conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia also came to the agenda during the meeting where Prime Minister Erdogan stated that solution of the problem would be easier if OSCE Minsk Group that consists of United States, Russia and France accelerates its efforts.
It is reported that President Obama told Prime Minister Erdogan that he knows the critical importance of resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
