“Armenia and Turkey reached agreement in the initial negotiations that the relations between the two countries should be normalized without any preconditions,” Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said at the meeting with special representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby in Yerevan, APA reported quoting Novosti Armenia agency.

According to Sargsyan, the attempts to give up these principles may put the whole process in danger.

Peter Semneby said the European Union supports the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations and expressed his hope that Armenia's initiative will have successful results.
