Borders will not be reopened until Armenia withdraws from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan, Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Mehmet Ali Sahin said at the meeting at the Azerbaijani Parliament.

He said the Turkish-Armenian border was closed because of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.

“Ankara took this step after Armenia’s occupation of Azerbaijani territories.”

“The borders will not be reopened until the occupied territories are freed,” he said.
