Returning to Turkey from United States after attending to UN General Assembly and G-20 summits in United States, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan replied the questions of journalists.

Commenting on the attitude of Armenia, Erdogan said, “We do not have presupposions or prejudices. Our President Mr. Abdullah Gul went to watch the soccer game in Yerevan without any preconditions. Did he ask for anything before he goes? He just went and watched the game. But now Mr. Sarksyan says that he will come to Turkey to watch the soccer game only if the borders are open. What kind of approach is this? Just this approach exhibits everything. Obviously he tries to leave a message as a part of internal politics. We do not have any problem with our Armenian citizens in Turkey. There are illegal Armenians in my country. We are not sending them back to their country.”

Stating that the efforts of OSCE Minsk Group is so important for resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Erdogan said, “They should be more tough and with more acceleration. The result of the process is necessary. We want this problem to be solved, if everyone wants the same then the problem will be solved.”
