
Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Esedov said, “We are from the same blood with friendly country Turkey. Nobody can damage our brotherhood.”
Visiting Baku to hold diplomatic contacts and to attend Turkish Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly summit, Speaker of Turkish Grand National Assembly Mehmet Ali Sahin met with Azerbaijani Parliament’s Speaker Oktay Esedov. During the meeting that is held in Azerbaijani Parliament, Esedov said that Azerbaijan and Turkey are friends and brothers. He said that everybody knows about the fraternal relations between two countries and the relations between them continue to develop day by day. Stating that there are strong ties that bind Turkey and Azerbaijan each other, Esedov said, “The most important thing that ties Turkey and Azerbaijan to each other is the same blood that flows in our veins.”
Stating that some circles, especially Armenians try to damage good relations between Turkey and Armenia by broadcasting misinformation, Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament said, “We ignore such misinformations. We know well that Turkey would never make a step conflicting the national interests of Azerbaijan.” Stressing that Turkey always supported Azerbaijan and will go on that, Oktay Esedov said that they believe Turkish Grand National Assebly will not make any decision that would harm the interests of Azerbaijan.
Speaker of Turkish Grand National Assembly, Mehmet Ali Sahin said that Turkey and Azerbaijan are brothers. He said, “Friendly and fraternal relations between two countries gets stronger.” He stated that he made his second visit to Azerbaijan following his visit to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Sahin also visited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. According to the report of Azertac agency, Aliyev stressed the importance of Sahin’s visit to Azerbaijan. Aliyev also mentioned the summit of Turkish Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly that will be held in Nakhichevan. He said that the summit will contribute the cooperation and relations between Turkic countries.
