Azerbaijani parliamentarian Igbal Agazadeh had an incident with Sirri Sakik, Turkish parliamentarian from DTP, who came to Baku to attend the meeting of Turkic-speaking countries Parliamentary Assembly.

Igbal Agazadeh told APA that the incident happened at the meeting that was also attended by Turkish parliamentarians.

“Actually, the mistake of the parliamentarian from AKP caused the incident. He said the rights of the Kurds had been violated in Turkey before they came to power. Sirri Sakik supported him. The quarrel began after that,” he said.

Igbal Agazadeh expressed his view.

“I showed enough facts that Kurds' rights were not violated. I proved that the rights of Kurds were not violated in art, business or civil service. I said there were 80 Kurdish parliamentarians in AKP. I asked why a regional party was established and political base is obtained to strengthen separatist tendencies. We had a sharp quarrel,” he said.
