“As an ethnic Turk, I am very glad about process of establishment of good-neighborly relations between Armenia and Turkey,” Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said at a briefing at the UN Headquarters in New York.
He said that his neighbors in Istanbul are Armenians, therefore he doesn’t think that this conflict must last too long.
“It is high time should solve this problem.” he said.
He said that the Organization of the Islamic Conference supports the initiatives of establishing relations between Turkey and Armenia.
