A Republican Representative from Ohio, Jean Schmidt won a law-case victory against Armenians who targeted American congresswoman because of her pro-Turkey stance and because of her stance against so called Armenian genocide. Attended to the elections as candidate of Armenian community, David Krikorian claimed that Schmidt takes money from Turkey and defends the position of Turkey against the allegations of so called Armenian genocide in United States. Schmidt carried accusations of Armenian-American politician to the Electoral Commission of the State. Following the session that lasted 15 hours, commission decided that the accusations of Krikorian are baseless and lie. Commission decided that an official declaration will be made that announces the accusations of Armenian politician are groundless and lie.

Krikorian draw his accusations away and he is warned that he will go on a trial if he commits the same guilt again. It is not known if Republican Representative from Ohio, Jean Schmidt will suit for damages.
