
Protocols that initialized by Turkey and Armenia towards establishment of diplomatic relations caused a status of panic among Armenian diaspora. In the mood of high stress, Armenian diaspora claims that Azerbaijan will recognize independence of so called Republic of Nagorno Karabakh. Experts commented on these claims as; “Armenian diaspora is daydreaming.”
Some organs of media of Armenian diaspora commented on the statements of Azerbaijani Presidential Spokesman Ali Hasanov in Baku and claimed that Azerbaijan will recognize the independence of so called Republic of Nagorno Karabakh. The statements of Hasanov that caused false hopes in Armenian diaspora was; “Baku will place realities in Nagorno Karabakh at forefront and will respect the rights of Armenian people in the region within the frames of international law.”

Although there is not any clause about resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the protocols that are initialized by Turkey and Armenia for normalization of relations, and although Armenian authorities and international mediators to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict claim that resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia are different issues, there is an opinion in the international community that opening of state border between Turkey and Armenia and resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is connected to each other.
Commenting on the terms “international law” and 're ality” that are used by Azerbaijani Presidential Spokesman Ali Hasanov, Armenian media wrote that the statements of Ali Hasanov is constractive and positive statements before the meetings towards resolution of the Karabakh conflict that will be held this week. Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents are expected to meet in Chisinau on October 10.
