Armenian diaspora claims that they succeeded to make a serious change in the schedule of the signing protocols that aim establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Armenia.

Holding a press conference in Yerevan, Yerevan representative of Armenian Assembly of America Arpi Vartanyan stated that President Serzh Sarksyan decided to bring forward the date of signing the protocols with Turkey. He claimed that Armenian President may also reject to sign current protocols.

Vartanyan said, “Sarksyan has faced with protest demonstrations in every country he visited. Of cource those demonstrations were planned. Doing so, a significant part of Armenian nation showed their reaction against Turkey-Armenia protocols to Armenian administration. We observe that opinion of President Sarksyan about signing protocols with Turkey is changed after his tour. He may bring forward the date of signing protocols with Turkey or he may reject to sign the protocols with current content.”
