WE EXPECT MUCH FROM ALIYEV-SARKSYAN MEETING: DAVUTOGLU

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said at a news conference in Ankara that they expect much from the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents’ Chisinau meeting, CNN Turk reported.

“We expect much from the Ilham Aliyev-Serzh Sargsyan meeting,” Davutoglu said.

The Foreign Minister added that this is the fourth meeting of presidents since May.

Davutoglu said the parties have not met so often over the past 17 years.

“Close meetings between the parties are one of steps taken to resolve the conflict,” he said.

GUL: ALL PROBLEMS IN CAUCASUS WILL BE SOLVED

At a news conference held before Turkish President Abdullah Gul’s visit to France, he said all frozen conflicts in Caucasus will be resolved, CNN Turk reported.

“All problems in Caucasus will be resolved,” Gul said.

The Turkish President said the U.S. and Russia are also engaged in resolving the conflicts in the region.
