ARMENIAN NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL APPROVES PROTOCOLS

Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan gathered the National Security Council to discuss signing protocols with Turkey. It is reported that religious leader and Minister of Diaspora also attended to the meeting to make the final decision about signing protocols with Turkey. The council approved the process of normalization by common consent.

Facing with protest demonstrations in every country he went to meet Armenian diaspora representatives to convince them about Turkey-Armenia protocols, Armenian president Serzh Sarksyan gathered National Security Council to discuss the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.

Public Radio of Armenia reported that Armenian religious leader Garegin II. and Armenian Minister of Diaspora were also present in the meeting and they discussed the issues about current stage of the process of normalization of relations with Turkey, the reaction of Armenian public opinion about the issue and the trips of Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan to countries that have huge Armenian population.

It is reported that the council approved the process of normalization of relations with Turkey by common consent.
