Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will visit Azerbaijan next week, said Spokesman for the Turkish government Cemil Chichek.
On Oct. 21, Davutoglu is expected to brief the Turkish parliament about the protocols signed with Armenia.
Ahmet Davutoglu will attend the meeting of foreign ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization in Baku on Oct.

“We have heard numerous promises by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu,” Azerbaijani Political Expert Fikrat Sadigov said commenting on Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's upcoming visit to Baku.
Baku will host the meeting of foreign minister of the Black Sea Economic Corporation Organization on Oct.
“The statements of support for Azerbaijan and consideration of country's interests were so many times that Davutoglu's visit to Baku and his one speech are unlikely to solve all problems and realizes hopes of Azerbaijan to promises made. So I do not expect a radical shift in public opinion in Azerbaijan after Davutoglu's visit and speech,“Sadigov said.
“Of course, if Davutoglu says that Turkey is opposed to ratification of the protocols in the parliament, which is unlikely, it is another question. Then it will be possible for something to believe and to hope for something,” he said.
“If the Turkish foreign minister states in Baku that after the the signing of the protocols in Zurich there was a verbal agreement with Armenia on the parallel solution of the Karabakh conflict and the liberation of Azerbaijan's lands, while the major powers supported the agreement, then the public opinion in Azerbaijan will perceive it well,” he added.
“If Davutoglu during the visit will repeat phrases and statements that Turkey is an ally of Azerbaijan, and it never hurt our interests, it will be true tautology, no one would believe him. Even people not only in Azerbaijan, but in Turkey will stop to believe him. It is deeply regrettable,” he said.
