Armenian diaspora organizations do not spare any efforts to undermine the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.

Armenian diaspora continues its efforts for erecting a so called Armenian genocide monument and building an Armenian Park in Boston where has a huge Armenian population. It is reported that Turkish cities in East Anatolia will be represented as Armenian cities on so called Armenian genocide monument that Armenians want to erect in Boston. If Armenians be successful about convincing U.S. officials about the monument, Armenian park and so called genocide monument in it, will be finished in the fall of 2010.

According to the report of a Turkish ’Forum’ newspaper in United States, Armenians are struggling for erecting a so called genocide monument in Boston since the year 2000. Monument is planned to be erected in a touristic area and it will have the names of Turkish cities on itand theywill be represented as “Armenian cities.”

On the other hand, New England Turkish-American Culture Foundation and several other Turkish organizations in United States continue their efforts for preventing Armenians to erect a monument about Armenian allegations.

Member of the advisory committee of Solidarity for Citizens Living Abroad, Ali Cinar, said that they will oppose such injustice initiatives and they will carry on a serious work on this issue.

Underscoring that local administration of Boston should be aware of these injustice initiatives, Cinar said that Armenian diaspora is uncomfortable about the dialogue between Turkey and Armenia. Ali Cinar stated that Turkish community in United States will move in accord to respond groundless Armenian allegations. Cinar called Turkish organizations in United States to be sensitive for groundless Armenian allegations not to be recognized by the public opinion of United States.
