SWITZERLAND READY FOR 'COMMITTEE OF HISTORIANS'

It is reported that Switzerland is ready for contributing establishment of ’committee of historians’ that is planned to be founded within the frames of protocols that Turkey and Armenia signed in the mediation of Switzerland in Zurich.

Department of Politics Chairman of Swiss Foreign Ministry, Thomas Greminger stated that Switzerland is ready to continue its efforts towards mediation between Turkey and Armenia. Greminger said that his country may contribute to the ’committee of historians’ that will make researches on 1915 events.

According to the report of Schaffhauser Nachrichten, Thomas Greminger said that it is the turn of Turkish and Armenian parliaments after the protocols are signed by Turkish and Armenian Foreign Ministers in Zurich. He said that Switzerland may still contribute development of relations between Turkey and Armenia after this point.

He said that his country may also contribute the ’committee of historians’, near other studies.
