Armenian Patriarchate of Turkey defined the process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia and the protocols towards establishment of diplomatic relations as ’positive developments’. Armenian Patriarchate stated that they are praying for ’God to deign will for permanent peace between Turkey and Armenia.“Issuing a written statement, Armenian Patriarchate wrote,
“We thank to our Lord who accepted our prayers for the peace in whole World and well-being of these two countries. We thank our Lord who made signing of this historical document possible.
Patriarchate of Armenians of Turkey evaluates signing of document that will make the normalization of diplomatic relations between Republic of Turkey and Republic of Armenia possible as historical. Armenian Patriarchate is hopeful that this positive development will contribute the relations between two country and two nations. We believe that agreement is towards the interests of both parties. We welcome and appreciate the deal. We are praying for God to deign will to the politicians, ministers and top officials of Turkey and Armenia for establishing permanent peace between Turkey and Armenia.“
