Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Turkish Women Union, Associate Professor Tenzile Rustemhanli stated that she believes that Turkish Grand National Assembly will vote ’No’ for Turkey-Armenia protocols.
Making a speech in a conference titled “Do no open borders, donot lose Azerbaijan,” Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Turkish Women Union, Associate Professor Tenzile Rustemhanli said, “Although Iran is close to us in religious aspects, they are supporting Armenia in everyway they can. Turkey closed its borders to Armenia for the sake of Azerbaijan and we cannot ignore that. Turkish people have always defended Azerbaijani interests and they will go on defending.”
“Erdogan promised us. He promised us as the Prime Minister of Turkey. That is a heavy responsibility and we want to believe Prime Minister Erdogan. Azerbaijan believes in Turkey and we believe that Turkish Parliament will not ratify protocols. Turkish people would not forgive ignoring interests of Azerbaijan.”
