Executive editor of one of the media organizations of Armenian diaspora in France, Nouvelles d’Armenia magazine, Ara Toranyan stated that a significant part of Armenian community is still skeptical about process of rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia.

Speaking to Cihan News Agency, Toranyan stated that Armenian diaspora understands the process althoughthe diaspora isinsistent on recognition of so called Armenian genocide. “One who accuse (Armenian President Serzh) Sarksyan of betrayal may in future realize that he is wrong. Armenians see these developments as tactical moves of Turkish state. Armenians think that Turkeyis following a policy of rapprochement just to convince European countries and United States not to pass genocide resolutions in their parliaments,” said Toranyan.

Claiming that Ankara continues its policy of ’denial’, Toranyan stated that recognition of so called Armenian genocide is a must for hundred percent normalization.
