One of the most efficient Armenian organizations in United States, Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) targeted Turkey’s ambassador to Washington Nabi Sensoy.

Armenian organization wrote in its website that the interview that Turkish ambassador gave to “Voice of America” is towards establishing connection between Turkey-Armenia protocols and ’denial’ of so called Armenian genocide.

Giving an interview to Voice of America, Ambassador Sensoy had stated that he hopes for the Armenian resolution that is introduced to the Senate by Senators Robert Menendez and John Ensing to not be passed. He said that timing for introducing such resolution to the Senate is not appropriate since there is an ongoing process of rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia. Sensoy said that he is hopeful that Senate will not even discuss the resolution.

Pro-Armenian Senators Menendez and Ensign introduced the resolution to U.S. Senate a few days ago. On the other hand, number of supporters of the resolution that was introduced to U.S. House of Representatives has reached to 134. It is reported that White House will oppose resolutions suggesting recognition of so called Armenian genocide to not to damage the process of rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia.
