Foreign Ministry Spokesman Burak Ozugergin said that Turkey sincerely wills normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia. Responding to the questions of reporters in a press conference, Burak Ozuergin said, “We do not only aim to normalize our relations with Armenia, we also aim to create basis for acceleration of the improvement ofthe relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Because peace and stability will not be established in South Caucasus in long time basis unless all the wheels move at the same time. Everybody is already aware of this fact.”

Stressing that Turkey is sincere in its policies towards normalizing its relations with Armenia, Ozugergin said, “Turkey wants to solve its problems with Armenia. Solution of problems in the region will be towards the interests of all regional countries. This is what Turkey aims to do in Caucasus. We hope that Armenians will be relieved to see that Turkey does not have a secret agenda as Turkey-Armenia relations progress, and hopefully this will make Armenia to have a positive stance towards resolution of the conflict with Azerbaijan.”

Calling for attention to the recent studies of OSCE Minsk Group, Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that Deputy Undersecretary Unal Cevikoz held long discussions with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in Vienna. “We aim to accelerate the process,” said he.
