Turkey has always demanded withdrawal of Armenian troops from Nagorno-Karabakh, Turkish ambassador to RussiaHalil Akincisaid in an interview with
“Resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and withdrawal of Armenian troops from Azerbaijan's occupied territories are imperative,“the ambassador said.
Akinci noted that the resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict will contribute to normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia.
“Armenia must necessarily normalize relations with Azerbaijan in order to establish and develop relations with Turkey since Azerbaijanis and Turkish people are one nation, living in two different states and speaking the same language,” the Turkish ambassador said.
