Timsal Karabekir, daughter of one of the most important figures in Turkey's War of Independence, Eastern Front Commander Kazim Karabekir, said, “Not Turks, but Armenians committed a massacre. Scientists found Turkish massgraves. Why they do not bring these on the agenda? Not Turks, but Armenians owe an apology.”
Karabekir said told the memories of her father Kazim Karabekir, Eastern Front Commander of Turkish Army during the War of Independence. She said that her father was always by the side of Ataturk and that her father always supported initiatives of Ataturk during the war.
Stressing that so called Armenian genocide is a scenario that is filled with lies, Karabekir said, “Not Turks, but Armenians committed a massacre. Scientists found Turkish massgraves. Why they do not bring these on the agenda? Not Turks, but Armenians owe an apology.”
