DASHNAKTSUTYUN: ARMENIAN FM DOES NOT WORK

Armenian Dashnaktsutyun Party MP Hrayr Garabetyan said in a press conference that Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia does not do its duties properly. Armenian MP said, “The statements made by Turkish Foreign Ministry showes that there are internal problems in the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.”

According to Armenian parliamentarian Armenian Foreign Ministry does not reply or refute the statements that are being made Turkish Foreign Ministry and preferes to remain silent. Politician claimed that Turkey violates international laws through making statements about national security issues related to the region. He said that the statements that are made by Turkish Foreign Ministry are not acceptable. Implying the statements of Davutoglu about Turkey’s stance related to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenian Dashnak Party official said that it is not true to bring preconditions about a third country while two countries are having bilateral talks.

Garabetyan said, “Recent developments showed that Turkey puts preconditions against Armenia.” He also stressed that Turkey has never been so active in the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Armenian MP criticized political parties in Armenia and reminded thespeech of President of Greek Populated Southern Cyprus in which he accused Turkey to have a stance in the process of resolution of the conflict in the island like the stance of racist administration in Germany during World War Two.

Stressing that Turkish parliamentarians started to mention that Turkey should be a co-chair in OSCE Minsk Group, Armenian Parliamentarian said that it is one of the results of Turkey-Armenia protocols.
