As discussions on the process of ratification of protocols continue, Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan said that process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia does not mean abandoning the efforts toward international recognition of so called Armenian genocide.

Armenian President stated that Armenia has always remained loyal to its commitments and is ready to establish relations with Turkey in accordance with the nature of Turkey-Armenia protocols.

At a meeting of representatives of Armenian Church, Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan said that Armenia is a responsible member of international community and has always remained loyal to its commitments. He stressed that Armenia is ready to establish relations with Turkey in accordance with the nature of protocols, without preconditions and in a reasonable time interval.

Armenian press reported that Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan pointed out the support of international community toward ratification of protocols and establishment of relations between two country without preconditions and within a reasonable time interval. Sarksyan once again repeated that “the process of normalization of relations with Turkey, and Karabakh conflict resolution are two different processes and have nothing in common.”
