AZERBAIJANI OPPOSITION COMMENTS ON FLAG CRISIS

Azerbaijani Popular Front Party Deputy Chairman Fuat Kahramanli commented on the flag crisis between Turkey and Azerbaijan and said, “Lowering of Turkish flags in Baku is an enforcement of Aliyev administration. Nobody should approach it like it was the attitude ofall Azerbaijani people. Azerbaijaniadministration made use of the events in Bursa.”

Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijani Popular Front Party Fuat Kahramanli and advisor to General President Sahib Kerimov visited Ankara following the tension between two fraternal countries. Kahramanli said that the process between Turkey and Armenia was wrong from the begining. He said, “Turkey should not make any steps before Nagorno-Karabakh is resolved. If Azerbaijan weakens, Turkey would get weak too.”

Kahramanli said that they do not believe that Nagorno-Karabakh problem will be resolved soon. Commenting on the flag crisis between Turkey and Azerbaijan, Kahramanli said, “Lowering Turkish flags in Baku and the events in Bursa were insults against the Azerbaijan. Event in Bursa happened during a clash. On the other hand, lowering of Turkish flags in Baku is an enforcement of Aliyev administration. Nobody should approach it like it was the attitude ofall Azerbaijani people. Azerbaijaniadministration made use of the events in Bursa”
