Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called Armenian diaspora in the World to leave unilateral propaganda.
Holding a joint press conference with French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, Ahmet Davutoglu said that Turkey wants to establish good relations with all Armenians.

Davutoglu said, “We want to establish good relations with the Armenians in Beirut and in Paris. To develop an equitablememory is towards the interest of every party. But it is not possibleif every party mentions its own pain in the history. You should leave unilateral history propaganda. I also know how my ancestors suffered. I know how they wereexiled from Balkans and Caucasus.”
Stressing that a better future could be established byhaving acommon memory, Davutoglu said that Turkey proposed a new vision and horizon and asked for establishment of a joint committee of historians.
When an Armenian journalist said “You said during the conference in the morning that you are against the sanctions against Iran, on the other hand you are enforcing sanctions against Armenia since long years,” Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Turkey is against any isolation in the region and initiated policies against them. “But occupation of Azerbaijan and turning one million people into refugees is a form of isolation.”
Davutoglu said, “Occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands and turning people into refugees is also a form of isolation. These people cannot return their homes. We want to solve this issue.”
