Social Democratic Party in Sweden recognized so called Armenian and Assyrian genocides in its party congress. Therefore, the allegations will be able to be carried on the agenda of the Parliament of Sweden. Swedish Social Democratic Party is expected to come into power in next elections.
As a result of the efforts of Secretary General of the Swedish Social Democratic Party, Assyrian origin Ibrahim Baylan and again Assyrian origin Yilmaz Kerimo, so called Armenian and Assyrian genocidesare recognizedin the congress of the political party. A resolution recognizing so called Armenian and Assyrian genocides is expected to be brought to the agenda ofSwedish parliament next year.
Turkish organiztions in Sweden get prepared to protest the decision of Social Democratic Party. A similar resolution that was recognizing so called Armenian and Assyrian genocides was brought to the parliament of Sweden two years ago. Swedish Parliament had not ratified the resolution of defamation.
