Foundation for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMED) Chairman, Associate Professor Savas Egilmez said that they have initiated a counter-campaign against the campaign of Armenian diaspora's lobbying organization ’Armenian National Committee of America’ (ANCA). Egilmez said that they will send 450 CDs on 1915 events to the U. S. House of Representatives.
After Armenian lobbying organization ANCA announced that it will accelerate its efforts before Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan’s official visit to Washington on December 7, the Foundation for Fighting Against Baseless Armenian Allegations (ASIMED) initiated a counter campaign and announced that 450 CD about 1915 events will be prepared and sent to the members of U.S. House of Representatives.
The counter-campaign of ASIMED is initiated following the announcement of ANCAon begining a count-down campaign till the visit of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to United States. Chairman of ASIMED Associate Professor Savas Egilmez said that Armenian diaspora aims to urge U. S. President Obama to leave messages on so called Armenian genocide. He stressed that Armenian diaspora will urge Obama to press Prime Minister Erdogan for recognition of Armenian allegations on 1915 events.
Egilmez said that CDs will be sent to the members of U.S. House of Representatives, President Barack Obama and media organizations in United States within 28 days. Stressing that they will send a letter to U.S. President Barack Obama that will be titled as, “Do not let Armenian diaspora to deceive you,” Egilmez said that people who want their names to be listed in the end of the letter and who wants to support the campaign should send
