Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev met with U. S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia Celeste Wallander and member of the parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Anderson Waverly on November 23.
Both meetings focused on the issues of bilateral relations, current situation in the South Caucasus and Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
Abiyev told the guests that Armenia intentionally delays the negotiation process to prevent peaceful solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Both guests stressed the importance of the solution of Nagorno Karabakh problem within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
