AZERBAIJANI AND ARMENIAN PRESIDENTS DISCUSSED KARABAKH PROBLEM

Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders met in Germany to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. According to France, presidents achieved progress.

Besides Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers, Co-chairs of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group attended the meeting.

OSCE MG’s French Co-chair Bernard Fassier stated that Presidents achieved progress in the meeting that lasted more than four hours. He also stated that there were issues that Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents differ on opinion.

Before the meeting Azerbaijani President had stated that Azerbaijan will continue negotiations as long as it has hope towards resolution of the problem. Aliyev had said, “If we lose our hope on resolution of the problemby peaceful methods, then there will not remain any other option otherthan military solution.” Aliyev had said that they will not any more let Armenia to delay the solution of the problem and this meeting will be decisive whether Azerbaijan will continue negotiations or not.
