“Armenian diplomacy resorts to any mechanisms on backdrop of unsuccessful attempts to present false and misleading information about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to international community,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elkhan Polukhov said.
Polukhov was commenting on a statement by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan.
During the meeting of the Armenian government, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said “Azerbaijan is consistently distorting reality and facts trying to form a distorted view of the international community about origins and development of the Karabakh conflict.”
“Occupation of Azerbaijan’s lands remains a fact which can not be justified in any way,” Polukhov said.
“Azerbaijan is guided by international law principles in this matter. Azerbaijan will further take efforts to deliver true facts about Azerbaijan to world community,” he added.
