SARKSYAN: IF TURKEY DOES NOT RATIFY PROTOCOLS...

Armenian President stated that Armenia will use all the rights that international laws give them if Turkey does not ratify the protocols. He claimed that attempts towards establishing connection between protocols and Nagorno-Karabakh problem will fail.

Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan said that Armenia is ready to ratify the protocols towards normalization of relations with Turkey. He said that Yerevan expects the same steps from Ankara.

Implying the protocols signed with Turkey, Sarksyan said that Armenia will fulfillits responsibilities in the international area. Stressing that they expect Turkey to do the same, Sarksyan said, “If Turkey does not ratify the protocols that we signed on October 10 in Switzerland, we are going to use all the rights that international laws give.”

Criticizing attempts for establishing connection between process of normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia and the process of resettlement of Nagorno-Karabakh problem, Sarksyan claimed that such attempts are doomed to fail. “Delay in the ratification of protocols willcreate additional obstacles,” said he. < Prev   Next >
