
The European Union is ready to help ensure security on the Armenian-Turkish border if the two countries establish diplomatic relations.
The remarks were made by Lithuania’s ambassador to Armenia, Giedrius Apuokas, at a briefing in Yerevan on Friday on Sweden’s EU presidency. “If the protocols on the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations are implemented successfully, we are ready to help ensure security on the border, both in terms of technical and organizational support,” Apuokas said.
