“In 1998 the Congress passed a decision to provide direct assistance to the separatist regime in Nagorno Karabakh on the state level and to this day because of the unsuccessful efforts of Azerbaijan’s diplomacy it continues to provide this assistance. The US government has always applied double standards. The US government must bear responsibility for this policy.
How can it be that the Iraqi government suffers because of expansionist intentions, leaders of Sudan are isolated from the world for actions against separatists, Iran has been sanctioned for the nuclear initiative, Turkey was subjected to sharp criticism for closing the terrorist party, Azerbaijan is threatened only for the fact that it wants to liberate its territory by military means, but the Armenian aggression is not imposed any sanctions, while the assistance provided to it is growing every year?
How can it be that the US government provides direct assistance to the separatist regime in Nagorno Karabakh, which creates conditions for the activity of the representation of the separatist regime in the United States and the accumulation of a large amount in various US cities by the terrorist leaders of the separatist structure? The U.S. government should respond to these questions.
The government of Azerbaijan, in turn, should put an end to half-hearted policy and should not be satisfied with empty statements. We believe that the government should immediately submit a note to the US government, heads of the US diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan should be invited to the Foreign Ministry and be demanded to stop provision of assistance to the separatist regime of Nagorno Karabakh and aggressor Armenia.
