PASHAYEVA THANKS ERDOGAN ON HIS EFFORTS FOR KARABAKH RESOLUTION

Azerbaijani Parliamentarian Ganire Pashayeva stated that they owe Erdogan a debt of gratitude for bringing the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh on the agenda during his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama.

Azerbaijani Parliamentarian said that Karabakh is under Armenian occupation and one-million Azerbaijani refugee suffers in the glare of whole World. Pashayeva said that they owe Erdogan a debt of gratitude for bringing the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh on the agenda during his visit to United States.

Commenting on the flag crisis between Turkey and Azerbaijan following the game between Turkish and Armenian national teams, Ganire Pashayeva said that they were pleased with the efforts of Turkish organizations that molded public opinion against the ban for Azerbaijani flags in the stadium. Stressing that 20 percent of the lands of Azerbaijan is under Armenian occupation and one-million Azerbaijani refugee suffers in the glare of whole World, Pashayeva said, “Whole world is silent about this fact. Azerbaijani people welcomes Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan’s position on Karabakh. We owe him a debt of gratitude. On the other hand, Obama did not touch this issue.”
