Following the visit of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to United States and his speech on an American Television about Nagorno-Karabakh, the number of the politicians that support recognition of so called Armenian genocide by United States has increased.
Democrat Senator from California Barbara Boxer, Democrat Senator from Connecticut Joe Lieberman andDemocrat Representative from California Linda Sanchez joined the group that supports adoption of so called Armenian genocide resolutions (S.Res.316 and H.Res.252). 130 Representatives from U.S. House and 10 Senators from the Senate have announced their support to so called genocide resolution.
Vice-President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had also promised support for the resolution.
