Azerbaijan sent note to United States on the adoption of a resolution that proposes allocation of $8 Million for seperatist regime of Nagorno-Karanakh by U.S. Congress.

The note of Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs is forwarded to U.S. Foreign Ministry by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Washington Yashar Aliyev.

Speaking to Azerbaijani ANS Television, Aliyev expressed the discontent of Azerbaijan is reflected on the note. Stressing that Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven regions around Nagorno-Karabakh is under Armenian occupation, Yashar Aliyev said that U.S. aid to the seperatist regime of “NKR” conflicts with the statements of U.S. administration about Nagorno-Karabakh and their support to territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

It is reported that the note of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stresses that U.S. aid to seperatists will be received as support to the occupation and will damage the efforts for resolution of the problem. Stressing that the aid is going to damage the objective image of United States as a co-chair in Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, the note wrote that the aid may cause occupation policies to continue. < Prev   Next >
