PASSENGER TRAFFIC BETWEEN TURKEY AND ARMENIA INCREASES

Passenger traffic between Armenia and Turkey increases by 20% every year, head of the Migration Agency of Armenia’s Territory Management Ministry Gagik Yeganyan said, APA reports quoting Armenia today portal.

He said about 17,500 came to Turkey from Armenia and 14,600 people came to Armenia from Turkey in 2000. In 2008, these figures were 63,800 and 64,400 respectively.

Yeganyan considers that these figures will increase more after the borders are opened.
